AS I WATCH I WONDER

As i wake in the morn
I wonder whether i should yawn

As i watch the kittens play
I wonder about their tiring day
As I watch the sea come in
I wonder of the litter in it, instead of the bin

As i watch the old horse rome
I wonder whether he has been ridden by a naughty gnome
As i watch the green grass grow
I wonder about it being sown in rows

As i go to bed
I wonder if should call for my ted
